Environment Preservation
- Leave no trace – most hikers are aware of this often unspoken law: whatever you take with you, you leave with, so be preparted to pack your rubbish.
- Walking or hiking poles with spikes are not permitted as they may cause damage to the unique and sometimes surprisingly fragile Burren landscape.
- The Burren is a protected environment with unique and rare plant life, please do not pick the flora.
